Co-director of the Japanese-French Laboratory for Informatics, an internal joint laboratory between CNRS, UPMC, University of Tokyo, Keio University and the National Institute of Informatics, created on January 1st, 2009.

·         Sept 2003 – August 2007:  Attaché for Science and Technology at Embassy of France to Japan, Tokyo. (on leave from a tenure professor position at UPMC)

·         Since September 1998:  Professor at University Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC– Paris 6), department of Computer Science, tenure position.
