I am interested in the design of adaptable software, involving linguistic (e.g., calculi, languages), architectural (e.g., components and reflective architectures), distribution (e.g., fault-tolerance), and intelligent control (e.g., agents, cooperation).
I am also interested in music (improvisation, interaction, retrieval).
I am also interested in the use of advanced computer/information techniques to touch important issues of environmental planning and its related issues (see e.g., the SimParc project).
